It was always fine before. Using a tester i noticed that there is no power going thru the lines for the pump and salt system. It could also be loose wires, either on the time clock terminal board, or on the timer motor. I turned the breaker off and back on and still not working. Hi Tom, sure you can spray some 3-in-1 or wd-40 on the motor gears, just depress the tab at 12 oclock and pop out the mechanism, to target the oil onto the gears. You can replace the entire mechanism or the gears. Did you try to flip the switch of the timeclock? Timer must be reset for current time after power outage. it could also be a failing breaker, but that would be a last resort. First you want to make sure there is actually power getting from the power board to the timer itself. If the timer clock is not turning on your pool pump timer, its either the timer itself has a fault or theres no power to the timer. You can find this in your power board. You can turn that yellow dial by hand CW to see if the trippers hit the off and on switch and to set the time on it. If the pump comes on, you definitely have power to the timer. It is not warped in any way. However the new breaker is in a constantly tripped position.
